Rimmel London Stay Matte Foundation Review

"Feather light, liquid mousse blends flawlessly for natural-looking, all day shine control.
Silky smooth formula leaves a perfectly matte, baby-soft finish. Lightweight texture
won’t feel heavy or greasy. Minimizes the appearance of pores."

So I tried the Rimmel London Stay Matte Foundation, I swear this is just an updated product...or am I imagining it for some reason??
I have combination skin; oily T-zone and normal cheeks, and I, therefore, need to use foundation that has a matte finish and is oil-free. This is pretty much what this foundation is for. I've been using Maybelline Dream Matte Mouse for years and is always my go-to foundation but it's nice to try something else sometimes; a) to see if there's any difference or if its better, b) to see what the hype is all about. After using this product initially I thought it was ok.....just ok. My skin didn't look shiny, didn't feel heavy and it has a nice coverage....BUT after a few hours I did find my skin to be oily and shiny again which I obviously wasn't very happy with. In conclusion, I think this product is just ok and there's nothing special about. FYI I didn't just try this product just the once, I used it over a few days and every time my skin turned out the same. I guess I'm back to my beloved Dream Matte Mouse....

Simple kind to skin hydrating light moisturizer review

View Large Image for Simple Hydrating Light Moisturiser - 125ml
Since sadly my Elemis moisturizer is coming to an end, it was time to invest in a new one but didn't want to spend more than £10. I have heard people mention the Simple light moisturizer and thought I'd give it a go. I have combination skin; normal on my cheeks but oily on my T-zone so want something that's not too heavy and will help to keep my skin hydrated without making me even more oily than I already am. When I tried it for the first time I wasn't amazed at first but after a few days of usage I really started to enjoy it. It does what it says, its a gentle light moisturizer which is perfect for my skin. Along with my combination skin, my skin is very sensitive to breakouts so I'm very cautious about being skin care products as many of them contain substances that irritate my skin for spot breakage. I chose to try Simple as it is well known to have no harsh chemicals and contains vitamins that are healthy for your skin. When I do buy skin products I like to use those with natural extracts which Simple does have. I have never tried any of their products before but I am very pleased that I did.
In conclusion, I am very happy with this product and would recommend this to someone with similar skin to myself.

Garnier Moisture Match: Combination to oily skin Review

Tried the Garnier Moisture Match for combination to oily skin today. This was so much better than the one for dull skin. It was a very creamy formula and it felt really fresh to apply. My skin felt instantly better and doesn't make my skin more oily. It also has a very fresh scent of cucumber mixed with flowers. Really enjoyed this, I really recommend it especially as a morning moisturizer.
