Jeffrey Campbell Coltrane Dupes

 Jeffrey Campbell Coltrane

A while back I found some Jeffrey Campbell Coltrane dupes in New Look however they didn't have my size and were sold-out very quickly, and then I saw some in River Island but were more expensive BUT now I finally got some dupes from Boohoo. They look very similar to the originals and were only £35; save ~£100 from buying the real thing. I usually don't like buying things that EVERYONE has but I love the style of these and been searching for some good dupes for ages. I am so glad I got them; definitely now my favourite shoes. They feel quite heavy but think that's something that will easily to get used to. I won't be wearing them to uni, however, as don't want them to get dirty (I have to walk through a lot of leafy grounds and usually puddles at this time of the year).

MUA nail varnishes; Essie dupes

For some reason I only just decided to write a blog about the MUA nail varnishes even though I tried them a good couple of months ago. These nail varnishes are supposed to be dupes for Essie, however, I have never tried Essie as I think they're too expensive. Thus, when I saw these little jewel looking so lovely, resembling Essie, and only £1; I had to try it. I chose shade 6 which is a deep red and is perfect for autumn/winter. I wasn't expecting much to be honest considering how inexpensive they are but I was pleasantly surprised; great coverage and the little brush makes the varnish easier to apply. There are many colours available and I think I will be buying more, they may even take over Barry M as my favourite nail varnish brand.....LOL Jkz I love Barry M too much :P

Rimmel London Stay Matte Foundation Review

"Feather light, liquid mousse blends flawlessly for natural-looking, all day shine control.
Silky smooth formula leaves a perfectly matte, baby-soft finish. Lightweight texture
won’t feel heavy or greasy. Minimizes the appearance of pores."

So I tried the Rimmel London Stay Matte Foundation, I swear this is just an updated product...or am I imagining it for some reason??
I have combination skin; oily T-zone and normal cheeks, and I, therefore, need to use foundation that has a matte finish and is oil-free. This is pretty much what this foundation is for. I've been using Maybelline Dream Matte Mouse for years and is always my go-to foundation but it's nice to try something else sometimes; a) to see if there's any difference or if its better, b) to see what the hype is all about. After using this product initially I thought it was ok.....just ok. My skin didn't look shiny, didn't feel heavy and it has a nice coverage....BUT after a few hours I did find my skin to be oily and shiny again which I obviously wasn't very happy with. In conclusion, I think this product is just ok and there's nothing special about. FYI I didn't just try this product just the once, I used it over a few days and every time my skin turned out the same. I guess I'm back to my beloved Dream Matte Mouse....

Rimmel ScandalEyes Thick and Thick Waterproof Eyeliner Review

Before even buying this product I thought it was a great design; eyeliner which is more precise and easy to apply. It also reminded me of a felt tip pen :P .... It was great when I first tried it, it lived up to expectations. It was really easy to apply and can change thickness by rotating the product. The density was great too, no need for re-applying. The big down-fall for me and why I won't buying this again is that it doesn't last very long. On a daily wear basis; it last for ~2-3 months which isn't great considering I have had my Barry M liquid eyeliner for over 6 months and is also cheaper. It also claimed to be waterproof which I'm not so sure is true regarding how easy it was to remove. I think this product would be better suited to those who wear eyeliner on occasion rather than for frequent use.

Sorry for lack of posts

......have had no internet for over 3 weeks and still technically don't have it (neighbours let me use theirs) but will be getting it on Thursday. Therefore, I will be posting again (yay!) and making youtube videos again (double yay!). I probably won't be able to post as frequently as before as I am back at uni, now studying MSc Molecular Medicine so as you can probably guess it's a lot of work. That's another thing about having internet again, I now get to work from home rather than sitting in the lonely computer room. Never realized before how much I rely on it until it's gone. But no more moaning and complaining, apart from about money as that's always a thing for use poor students =P
